CALL FOR PAPERS
The I Spanish Workshop on Gender Economics will take place on June 30, 2008, at the Palace Carmen de la Victoria, Granada. The aim of the Workshop is to offer young researchers interested in gender economics a forum for the presentation and discussion of research papers representing current advances in the field.
Juan José Dolado (University Carlos III, Madrid) and Shoshana Newman will give the keynote lectures in this first edition. In addition, there will be 10 papers to be discussed in morning and afternoon sessions.
Submissions for presentation should include an abstract and, when possible, the paper itself in pdf format (one single file, including tables and figures). Preference will be given to submissions that include a completed paper.
The submission deadline is April, 4 2008. Acceptance decisions will be communicated by the end of April. We particularly encourage graduate students to apply. Send your paper to Pablo Brañas (branasgarza@gmail.com). Accomodation in double rooms will be paid for researchers whose paper is accepted. There is no registration fee.
