Claims with respect to the Master's Program
Any registered or potential student wishing to raise a suggestion or claim concerning the Master's Program should do it in writing by addressing a motivated letter to the Master's Responsible who will give course to it and respond in due time and manner.
The program is designed to be completed in one academic year.
During the fall term, students take economic theory and applied courses, in which they develop the analytical, quantitative and programming skills necessary for the winter term's courses. During the spring term, students write a master's thesis on a selected topic.
The aim of the program is to provide a sound understanding of economics and its applications.
Students in the program learn empirical modes of inquiry and quantitative methods, and how to apply these to investigate economic issues. After completing the program of study, graduates will have the knowledge and skills to conduct independent analyses for governments and private institutions, or will be well trained to pursue a PhD in economics. All classes in the master's program are in English.
